The ErP energy label is the EU efficiency label for energy-related products such as heat pumps, boilers and hot water tanks, introduced under the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling framework. For heat pumps it shows the seasonal space heating efficiency class from A+++ to D at 35 °C and 55 °C, sound power levels and rated output for three climate zones. The European Commission has proposed rescaling the label to a simple A–G scale.
