Definition
Solar Keymark is the voluntary European certification mark for solar thermal collectors and factory-made systems, owned by CEN and based on testing to ISO 9806 / EN 12975 and EN 12976 at accredited laboratories plus annual factory inspections. Its public database lists every valid certificate with efficiency coefficients and annual output figures. Most European subsidy schemes and many international tenders require it, and the scheme now covers PV-T collectors.
